Great News! You have spoken and we have listened.
As you may be aware the brown paper suggestion is out there and we have had a great response, thanks to those who have responded.
What has come through very strongly from a lot of the members is to get the whole family involved with special attention to the kids. With this in mind we have put a new swing on this weekend's Jamboree: We are going to have a kids Jamboree! That's right! No drive out and no heavy obstacles! Just a day dedicated to our children, filled with fun and excitement.
So, kids, here's what we are going to do.
Entrance fee:
Animal food for the zoo: bring some items of a non-perishable nature, such as large cans of (Boss) dog/cat food; chicken; apples; bananas; Froot Loops; raw peanuts; raisins; brown bread; bird food mixture; Pedigree dog food and blankets are always welcome.
Christmas Toy Charity Run:
Load up the kids' old toys and bring them to Open Day.
It's all happening this Sunday, 5th October, at Base 4, so round up all the kids you can find, young and old!
Please note that this event replaces the planned carnival / jamboree event.
