Leave Johannesburg northbound on William Nichol Drive, past Montecasino and the Four Ways Mall. This is the R511. Continue towards Hennops/Hartbeespoort Dam. Soon after passing under the N14 freeway, and after the Laezonia Garage on the right, turn left at the sign "R511 Hartbeespoort", still on the R511. +/- 4 km later, after North Hill Farm, turn left onto a gravel road at the FWDCSA sign. The GPS co-ordinates of the turn are S25°51.705 E28°00.464. 800m down this road you will find the entrance to Base 4 on the right. The GPS co-ordinates of the entrance are S25°51.851 E28°00.001.
